Keyword enrichment analysis of published research articles

In the scripts and ressources below, you will find the tools and the start of an exploratory data analysis. The core question I am trying to address is: can published research article keywords indicate modifications of research interests globally ?

This step aimed at :

• Get as much data as possible from pubmed (1.9 million records here)
• Integrate this data into a clean database (MongoDB)
• Publish some clean code about getting data and visualize it
• Start to explore the data “by hand” and try to get an intuition whether this whole idea make sense or not at all
• Does journals with a given impact factor modulate the presence of certain keywords ?
